We are seeking an experienced and analytical Asset Manager to oversee the financial and operational performance of a multistate multifamily real estate portfolio. This role is responsible for maximizing asset value, monitoring property performance, implementing operational strategies, and collaborating with property management, accounting, acquisitions, and ownership teams. Candidate must we ready, willing, and able to travel to multi-state property locations within the US on a regular basis.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, financially savvy, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple assets while driving performance and operational efficiency.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Oversee the operational and financial performance of a multifamily real estate portfolio.
• Analyze monthly financial statements, operating reports, rent rolls, budgets, and variance reports.
• Monitor property occupancy, leasing trends, delinquency, concessions, and market conditions.
• Work closely with third party property management companies to improve NOI, operational efficiency, and resident retention.
• Review annual operating budgets, capital expenditure plans, and reforecasts.
• Prepare investor and ownership reporting packages with financial and operational analysis.
• Maintain strong relationships with third-party management companies, lenders, consultants, and vendors.
Requirements
• 2+ years of experience in asset management, real estate finance, multifamily operations, or property management preferred.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of multifamily real estate operations and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standar property management/accounting software.
• Ability to interpret financial statements, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities with the capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experience with budgeting, capital planning, and operational strategy implementation preferred.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage a team while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• Experience with LIHTC affordable housing programs a plus.

Pay
$120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year, plus bonus
