About Us

We are a growing property management company specializing in multifamily communities across Texas and Louisiana. We are expanding our Southeast Texas portfolio and are looking for a strong operations-focused leader to oversee day-to-day property operations in the Port Arthur / Groves / Port Neches market.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can solve problems, hold teams accountable, improve property performance, and help scale operations as we continue to grow.

Position Summary

The Regional Operations Manager will oversee daily operations for multiple apartment communities in the Port Arthur area. This role will act as the primary field operations leader for the region and work directly with ownership and executive leadership.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, accountable, experienced in multifamily operations, and comfortable managing both onsite staff and vendors. This person must be able to operate independently, make decisions, and keep properties running efficiently without constant oversight.

Key Responsibilities
Property Operations
Oversee daily operations of multiple apartment communities
Ensure properties are clean, operational, safe, and professionally managed
Monitor occupancy, delinquency, collections, work orders, turns, and leasing performance
Conduct regular property inspections and identify operational issues
Assist with takeover transitions and stabilization of newly acquired properties
Ensure compliance with company policies and fair housing requirements
Team Management
Supervise Property Managers, leasing staff, and maintenance teams
Hold onsite teams accountable for performance and deadlines
Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and staff development
Help build strong operational systems and company culture
Maintenance & Capital Projects
Coordinate maintenance operations and vendor scheduling
Monitor make-ready progress and unit turnaround timelines
Assist with capital improvement projects and contractor oversight
Ensure work is completed properly, on budget, and on time
Financial & Performance Oversight
Review delinquency reports and collections
Monitor expenses and help control operating costs
Assist leadership with operational reporting and performance tracking
Help improve NOI through operational efficiencies and revenue growth
Ownership & Communication
Provide regular updates to executive leadership
Respond quickly to operational emergencies and escalations
Maintain professional communication with residents, vendors, and team members
Help implement company initiatives and operational standards across the region
Qualifications
Multifamily property management experience preferred
Experience managing multiple properties strongly preferred
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage vendors and onsite staff
Organized and detail-oriented
Ability to prioritize and operate in a fast-paced environment
Reliable transportation required
Experience with Rent Manager or similar property management software preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
